”We only stayed 1 night (on June 17) but wish we would have been able to stay a second night. From the moment we arrived the service was spectacular. Juliet welcomed us with a beautiful smile and some serious southern hospitality. ”We liked the room once a couple repairs were made. Liked the staff, Mariah & Carrie & and young guy on evening shift. Lady in Dining area during free breakfast was not too friendly and looked very gestapo like as she watched over all guests which was a bit creepy. ”The property is attractive and well maintained. If room is on the harbor side the view is excellent. Restaurants on premises are poor with the exception of the Reel Restaurant, but that has only sandwiches and "bar" food. Many of the employees working at the front desk have a serious deficit understanding and clearly speaking English.Do not expect concierge or any luggage assistance. The setting is very nice and there is an hourly shuttle to Charleston, BUT customer service is seriously lacking.”
