The food is amazing, fish and chips is a definite go to, and 2nd night we had a 3 course meal closer to fine dining with famtastic quality. ”Stonecross is a lovely old manor house that has been well restored. Quite often these old buildings fall into disrepair because of cost, but my wife and I felt it was really well presented. Stonecross is located close to the M6 but a short drive from The Yorkshire Dales or Lakes. The lobby is spacious and classy feeling with the tickle of piano music in the background.
