”Great big clean room. Very good bed. Restaurants near the hotel were surprisingly good! (Thai and Breakfast) Close to the harbor where we saw sea otters and other animals. ”

”From check in till check out everything was pleasant. The staff was super friendly and was genuinely ready to assist me with whatever my need were. I got a birthday surprise (wine and cookies) because I mentioned my reason for the stay. They told me I could have called ahead so if you have a birthday when booking please mention it so you can get a room treat. The Saltwood restaurant has a great happy hour. I didn't care for the room service breakfast meals but that doesn't take away my feelings...

”I’ll start by saying I ignored the reviews and decided to stay anyway—and that was my mistake. Unfortunately, the reviews are accurate. The room was dirty, and the overall environment felt unsafe. There appeared to be a number of individuals on the property who made us uncomfortable, and at one point someone was pounding on our door at 2 a.m. after attempting to get in. To make matters worse, the door’s safety latch/chain was missing. There were also basic safety concerns, such as the absence...

”The staff are always nice, friendly and accommodating. I stay here when I’m in town at least every other month. Some of the rooms, the bed isn’t the most comfortable but some of the beds like the one I nose recently experienced were great. Always a pleasure. ”

”I wanted to say that the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The issues I had were 1. The towels and linen smelled funny and had stains. 2. The bathroom set up is horrible. The door is too big so you have to wedge in between the toilet and the shower to close the door. 3. Water pressure was non existent and no hot water. 4. Toilet has a crack so it leaks. 5. Remote did not work unless you were standing right in front of TV. 6. AC units ours and next door were screeching especially at night....
