”I was a completely unplanned visitor who trekked the moors at night to reach the Inn. Though the only thing that happened on the moors was fulfilling an American's silly Holmesian fantasy of walking the moors at night, everyone was concerned for my safety and I really appreciated that. My stay was wonderful, the food was really delicious, and everyone with whom I spoke was just up-front and pleasant. I will be back some day and guess where I'll stay?”

”Had a lovely relaxing time with my girlfriend and her husband, room was so clean and had everything we needed, absolutely loved being able to log into Netflix on the tv which was a great size. We were checked in by a lovely young man who also served us our food, he was very attentive and even brought us extra sides for our burgers. ”Beautiful property in lovely countryside. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities provided. The bar was well stocked and the food lovely, although a little pricey, especially the children’s meal! Breakfast was fab with a great choice and cooked to order so was piping hot on arrival. Went to Kielder winter wonderland so this was an ideal stay as only 10mins drive away. Would definitely recommend.”

I appreciate putting 3 bottles in might be a waste but 2 between the 3 of us would have been better and 2 packs of biscuits would have meant we could all have 1 biscuit. ”It is a quirky place. Looks very plain from the front but was a lovely place to stay. Great service from arrival to departure. Food was superb.
