”My husband and I would like to recommend, in the highest terms, Sam, who seemed to be in charge of everything. She was cool, calm and extremely efficient.
We were very impressed with her, from the fact that she changed our room so that we would be less disturbed by the inevitable functions that were on at the time of our stay, to remembering what we like to drink and being so cheerful and friendly at all times.

”The room was beautiful. We had been to a wedding so they allowed late arrival back. The only feedback is they the room was stifling hot to enter. There wasn’t air conditioning but there was a fan they I was happy with. The pillows were so comfy and it was a luxurious stay. Would return. Breakfast was also delicious. ”

”Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!
We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....
”A great overnight stay at this hotel. Had a space themed family room - loved it! The decor was amazing, from the galaxy wallpaper, to the plough constellation on the ceiling and the seperate bunk bed pod. Fabulous! ”

”The restaurant was very good and the staff were friendly and professional. My only complaints are we asked for two beds but got one and there were no electrical outlets near the bed for plugging in our CPAP machines.”
”Booked a double and twin room. Twin room had more recently been refurnished, furniture in double was a bit tired. Both rooms were lovely and clean. Beds were comfortable and there was a good choice of hot drinks.”
