”Rooms were nice and clean, check in swift and staff friendly. Had the worst nights sleep of my life though. Had to move rooms at 12am as couldn’t get to sleep in my first room due to a constant drone sound from a pump in the building. Reception staff moved me immediately. Finally settled down in the new room only for the fire alarm to go off at 2am. I’m sure my experience would’ve been fine had it not been for those problems”

”The cost for the rooms, dinner and drinks was very expensive for what it was. The bedroom I stayed in had a broken blind which let the light in, the bedside lamp was also broken, the Manager was grumpy, but two very nice waitresses. Otherwise not to be recommended at that price.”

”It was a beautiful place! The host was very nice and friendly; she came out to help us with things we could have read in the info packet she’d emailed, but she didn’t display the least bit of annoyance. Instead, she conversed with us a bit about the property. The tents are so nice and gave little touches that take it over the top: water bottles, ear plugs, eye masks, decor, space heater, lights over the entrance (didn’t keep me awake). The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom building...

”Lovely room lots of character. The food is excellent and clearly very popular indeed the local area, definitely reserve a table. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They had a breakfast sandwich ready for me to leave early for work which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay again ”

”I had a lovely stay at the Fox. A lovely room with tea, coffee, and fresh milk in the fridge. The staff is friendly and very welcoming and I had a lovely supper and the breakfast is superb. If only all the rooms had bath tubs, it would be perfect!”

”Loved this place and the people. It is a little far from main attractions, Salisbury and Stonehenge. About 10-15 miles. But it is so charming. Food is fantastic and building is historic. Be sure to have right converters for plugging things in as there are no USB ports in the rooms. No AC and we arrived during a short heat wave. Bed very comfortable and the soaking tub in the room was great for cooling down.”

”Yhden päivän ja yön matkalla Stonehengen kiville hotelli toimi hienosti. Parkkipaikka aivan hotellin edessä, joskin ohikulkeva tie piti jonkinlaista meteliä yöaikaan. Ystävällinen, nuori henkilökunta mutta vähän saisi harjoitella tilausten muistamista. Aamiainen lisämaksusta ja hinta 12£ ei ollut mielestämme kohtuullinen. Ympäristössä ei ole lähistöllä oikein mitään, bensa-asema ja pieni shop. Mutta olimmekin pikamatkalla ja siihen tarkoitukseen sopi oikein hyvin.”
