”Eckington Manor is a lovely hotel with very nice rooms, set in beautiful grounds, a short distance from Cheltenham. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As the hotel is a little remote, we decided to eat in the hotel. The food was excellent as was the breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will no doubt return if we are in the Cotswolds.”

”Stanbrook Abbey Hotel is amazing in all respects. It’s historical and very attractive set in extensive grounds. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I only had one meal in the hotel and it was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, it’s great.”

”Pleasant and efficient receptionist. Clean, spacious room. Parking was easily sorted. Good night's sleep, peaceful and comfortable as fan in the room. Won't buy a breakfast beforehand again online as it would have been much cheaper if bought when arrived there with the room offer.”

”Stayed in the mews which was a side annex. Great good sized room along with good sized bathroom with powerful shower over a bath. Clean crisp bedding. Attentive staff Great stay”

”We only stayed one night and in the June Heat wave , our room no3 was very very hot ,it had a ceiling fan but didn't cool down the room , we asked for another fan which they gave us but still the bedroom was too warm for comfort , this was all due to the heatwave ,not the Inn's fault. Bed was comfortable enough, but a shared bathroom just down the landing ,also a shared kitchen, no cutlery and not a lot of milk in the fridge. None of this really bothered us a lot as only an overnight stay, but...

”Stayed in the 'Dunlin room' Very poor lighting in the corridor. Wallpaper patched up poorly in the corridor by the bedrooms. Noisy extractor fan in our bathroom. Breakfast a little underwhelming, (overdone bacon and chewy sausage. Staff very attentive and polite. No signal on the tv celestial channels on two days. Limited bathroom amenities. Cobwebs on the windows in the breakfast area. ”

”We traveled from Cincinnati, Ohio to visit my best friend who lives in Worcester. I sent her a few potential places to help us choose where we should stay and we were so pleased she helped us choose a great place at no.12! We stayed in the Malvern Hills flat and it was just perfect. First we loved the convenient location and then the security of the building and our flat. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. I loved the aesthetics of the spaces! I had mistakenly not booked...

”The places was not well equipped, with it being over 30 degrees- only a small fan was placed in room. The windows did not open fully. No water placed in room knowing it was going to be hot. The outside needs update and not what the photos show. Breakfast was nice but.”

”Very quirky old hotel with a lot of history to the hotel as well. Staff were very helpful and courteous and were a joy to deal with. Public areas could do with some attention as there were evidence of dust and cobwebs visible during our 5 day stay. No one paying attention to it except for someone writing dust with their finger to highlight the fact. Obviously it was being observed by others! Some tlc to the decor needed although the bedroom we stayed in was quite pleasant. We did enjoy our stay...

”Hotel & rooms were excellent . Location with river view a bonus . Only disappointment was quality of cooked breakfast , could use better quality ingredients. Would stay again but go out to eat breakfast.”

”Really nice b&b in an historic and interesting house. Host was really friendly and breakfasts were really good. Large bedroom, plenty of space for clothes. Right opposite the Abbey and near local amenities. Would certainly return.”

”A repeat stay at this location. Easy, convenient, clean, and the staff were very accommodating, via email and voice call. The parking could not have been any more easy and available. This place will always be my first choice in Worcester.”

”Most of the beer in the bar was off. We asked for an extra fan for the room, it didn't turn up. My wife is a vegan, we asked for oatmilk in the room. That didn't arrive either. To cap it all when we left we were told that we had to pay an extra £55.00 as the price we were quoted was less than what it should have been. Won't be stopping here again.”
