”The room was not clean. Very dirty floor. Looked like it had not been swept or mopped in a long time. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was not much to write home about.”

”When I went to my room, the key didn’t work, after multiple tries. Went back to the office, they treated me like I was incompetent. The gave me a different room. As I was walking away, he told me of a trick to get the door open. There shouldn’t be a trick to get in my room!! Then the pipes under the sink leaked. I had a flood on the floor. ”Checked in and the entire lobby just has a weird smell of food. Got to our room and we had NO hot water. Reported to the front desk who had their maintenance come and said a fuse blew on the hot water heater. We just drove 8 hours and all my kids needed bathed. And were forced to take cold baths. After an hour the water was still cold and I was like "you'll just have to be patient" it was like midnight. The toilet paper smelled like cigarettes and there was no stopper for the bath tub. ”

”WoodSpring Suites Kansas City Mission is definitely a very basic hotel without the amenities of most hotels. But it's perfect if you're just looking for a comfy bed, kitchenette, and a shower. For those reasons, plus the wonderful staff and insanely great price, I would recommend this hotel. My stay lasted a week or more, as I kept having to extend it, and included my two small dogs.
