Majatalot – Town of New Haven

”The front desk was very friendly and helpful. While the room was clean, the room itself was dated. Bathroom was dark and dated. Bed comfortable. Didn’t like that we had to climb steps to get to/from room since it was rainy.”

”Cabin in the woods....what more could you ask. It was quiet and in a beautiful setting. Food in the restaurant was standard bar food but it was hot and tasty. Bar staff was courteous and efficient, even when tasked with a rowdy party of about 20 people. They were loud but respectful and the staff took it in stride. Only spent one night in our travels through the area but would stay again.”

”Great stay!”

”There’s a lot of bad things I could say about this cabin. But the worst thing was (the wiring). I was worried the cabin would catch on fire. Some of the light fixtures were loose in the walls. Especially the kitchen. We did not use the hot tub. We were informed that if water was spilled out it would trip the electric breaker box.”

”Clean and secluded”

”Enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located close to everything!”

”This cottage is absolutely precious! From the morning and evening deer sightings in the yard to the cleanliness and comfort of the interior, beds, and lounging/ den area it was nearly perfect. Hostess Carri has thought of everything to make this a delightful stay for anyone wanting to visit the area and to attend New River Gorge. AND it is pet-friendly! The trailhead to our chosen hiking trail was nearly within walking distance! Should we ever revisit the area we will most definitely return to...

”This was a clean, comfortable, and affordable property in a beautiful part of West Virginia. The host was very responsive and helpful. Small amenities like coffee and some snacks were thoughtfully included and much appreciated after a long day hiking.”

”Awesome house in the heart of town. Great spot for me to set as my home base to explore all the areas of New River Gorge. Would for sure recommend. Walkable to local spots for coffee or lunch/dinner. Hosts instructions were very clear. 10/10”

”Everything is great”

”It was perfect 👌”

”Super cute recently renovated home. Well equipped for a comfortable stay. We loved it !”

”Great place”

”This property was everything! Perfect location with multiple restaurants within walking distance. Great outdoor relaxing areas. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms made it super comfortable for our party of 6. Great communication with host for an easy check in and out! Everything we needed and more for a great weekend. We will be back!”

”I have to say, this was one of the most well-stocked, and cleanest VRBOs we’ve been in. It is an older home, but I don’t think there was one speck of dirt to be seen anywhere! And there was soap, extra tp, bikes, hammocks, more than enough towels, plenty of everything for anything you might need in a pinch! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and it was so nice to have the hot tub to relax in after a full day of hiking and exploring. If we were to return to new river gorge, we would stay...

”Absolutely beautiful home! The host has kept the property in pristine, like-new condition, and I found myself wanting to stay inside just to take in all the thoughtful details. Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well organized. The home had the perfect amount of amenities, and the information provided about the surrounding area was incredibly helpful. If you’re considering staying here, I would absolutely recommend it! Overall, we had a wonderful trip, and the home itself was...

”This house was great! Location outside of town with beautiful views, 3 adorable cows for neighbors and a resident cat. The inside was clean, beautifully decorated and the owner truly thought of everything. The four of us had a great home base for all of our adventures. The area has so much to offer, way more than we could fit in our visit.”
