”The host did not send check-in instructions until 640pm after VRBO staff and myself tried to contact her, as check in is at 5pm. After arriving at the property, we looked inside the window and it had not been cleaned at 6:15pm (beds unmade). We scrambled to find another place quickly due to it being late in the day.The host only did a partial refund and VRBO would not help. I had three “chats”, and two phone calls with customer service with no resolution. I had to call my bank for escalation of...

”This was our second year staying in the train cars at Doolittle Station. Last year, we stayed in the Blue Caboose and this year in The Artiste. We prefer the Blue Caboose hands down over the Artiste. Cleaner, better laid out, and better stocked. In the layout of The Artiste, you walk into the living room, into the bathroom, then into the bedroom, and finally the kitchen. The kitchen was missing simple things like paper towels which we purchased and left for the next person. Also, no hand towels,...

”We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The view was spectacular, and the privacy and seclusion made it feel like our own peaceful retreat. It was exactly what we needed for a long weekend away and some quality time together.
The cabin was exceptionally clean, tidy, and smelled fresh when we arrived. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were clean and fresh. The kitchen had all the basics we needed, making it easy to settle in and feel at home.
We especially enjoyed...

”Excellent! The room was great! Service was excellent, staff friendly. The Dinosaur Museum was great! Loved eating in the cafe. We unfortunately had not enough time for hitting a bucket of golf balls or the miniature golf course (the miniature golf course also has an assortment of dinosaurs and was just outside our door). We traveled to see several covered bridge in the general area (each within approx. 40 to 50 miles of the hotel) and passed a few Amish farms as well. We saw and read...

”The cabin was clean, the view was spectacular. Had to contact host responded within a minute. Would recommend if your looking for a get away in the mountains. Loved that it was pet friendly. Didn't have to pack a lot because everything was there. Has a book about the cabin and the surrounding area which was very helpful. Took our dog to a private location they have by the creek. She had a blast swimming.”

”We really loved staying in the presidential car, you can tell just how much care and work has gone into the life of this car, the attached bathroom was so beautiful. Truly an amazing job.Our pain point was the amenities on site, our plan was to get in and stay at the park all day. But the restaurant was closed, the mini golf was a bit sad and hard to walk, we gave up before the 9th hole. The ice-cream store was musty and the food options were disappointing. It was a bit frustrating that they...

”The place was clean and comfortable. Was expecting it to be more of a country setting, not right in town with other properties very close. We noticed an odor coming from the laundry room/bath area. It could have been stale water in the washing machine hoses? The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the satellite TV since it rained most of the day on Saturday.”
