Matkat – Tring Rural

The two bedroom apartment was good. Sparsely furnished for such a big space, but that's fine. No air con so REALLY warm. After a couple of days with all the windows open, it became tolerable. The relationship between the owners and the front desk is strange. For example, there were no toilet rolls in the apartment - front desk gave as a couple as a favour, but said it's nothing to do with them, and we're meant to message about that kind of thing. At check out I mentioned that one of the windows doesn't close - he didn't seem too bothered, and it was hard to guess if he'd ever tell anyone about it. Communication from the owners was dire. They use the messaging facility on this site, but don't type anything, just attach HTML files containing the messages. On my phone, they appeared as dark grey text on a black background, making them near-impossible to read. I guess those messages would have been the route to information like the WiFi password, but I couldn't read the messages, so never found out.

Huone oli siisti ja suihkusta tuli hyvällä paineella vettä. Henkilökunta oli erittäin kohteliaita ja aamupala oli maukas.

Hotellin paras puoli on sen sijainti. Helppo saapua ja pöäset kävellen useisiin teattereihin sekä ostoksille. Huone itsessään oli todella pieni, mutta se tarjosi sen, mitä haimme eli paikan nukkua muutamaksi yöksi ja hyvän sängyn. Pidemmälle matkalle kaipaisin enemmän tilaa ja näkymää ulos. Hotelli oli hiljainen eikä metron äänet häirinneet meitä lainkaan. Yöksi huoneesta sai myös pilkkopimeän. Miinusta siitä, että suihku oli suunniteltu huonosti ja kasteli koko tilan. Kosteus myös poistui kylpyhuoneesta hitaasti. Meitä häiritsi hotellin aulassa ja käytävillä käytetty tuoksu.

Loistava hotelli. Huone tosin oli hieman kulunut ja pölyinen.
