”I liked everything about the Marine. Only one criticism and that was the fact that the hotel itself does not have a direct telephone that you can ring them on. All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. Will definitely stay there again without question.”

”This was our second stay at Barns and it not disappoint. The rooms are spotlessly clean, nice touch with the mini fridge with fresh milk and water. The street is very quiet, as are the rooms. Only 3 rooms but we didn’t hear or see anyone so we had the beautiful back terrace to ourselves, a little sun spot! Lovely large kitchen/dining area for your use but we ate out both nights. Would highly recommend.”

”Small, friendly, helpful & clean. Room very comfortable with everything you would need for a short stay. Only comment was that there was no long mirror in the room. The one in the assessable room was in the toilet/shower room & therefore became less assessable when the toilet was in use plus became very steamed up & unable to be used. Such a small thing so not a problem & we would definitely use this hotel again. Dinner was very nice as was breakfast with plenty of choice. Loved the little bar...
