”Just back from a 2 night mini break. Jackie and Rob are so welcoming. The breakfast is fabulous, nothing is too much trouble. Great location for Black Country Living museum. Would highly recommend!”

”We had a wonderful stay and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We really appreciated the excellent service and would happily stay here again.”

”Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend ..”

”Beautiful old main building and well constructed new wing that blended seamlessly with the old main Hall. However, due to the layout and lack of lifts it meant a really long walk from our room to the main reception area. The Hotel seemed to have a lack of staff - the very nice mature lady at reception, was multitasking and ended up carrying our bags up to the room. This staff shortage manifested itself later when we went to have dinner - to be told that the gas was off in the kitchen and...

”Nice clean room, staff pleasant. Very good price and perfect location for us. Only downside was the noise insulation could be better. Couldn’t hear anything from the bar but the room above were constantly moving for hours and next doors snoring could clearly be heard. However would stay again ”

”The rooms were clean and comfortable and belied the rather inauspicious entrance out the back of the pub. There were little touches (water, coffee/tea and biscuits) that made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfy.”

”Beautiful setting near a canal, room was lovely a huge bed! Slept really well, staff so friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely in the restaurant staff very helpful, definitely be going back there and recommend to my friends.”

”This was a last minute booking and the room wasn't ready when we arrived so we had a little wait until it was ready. The manager (Tanya I think?) was very helpful, kept us informed and gave us a free drink while we were waiting which was much appreciated. The room itself was good, it was ground floor and close to McDonalds but we couldn't hear any noise from outside. I didn't find the bed or the sofa bed particularly comfortable but it was fine for one night. The only thing that would have been...
