”I had issues (twice...) with the codes not working when trying to enter my room which made me feel unsafe especially when this happened midnight. Reception is not open after 10pm so I received help via Whatsapp and staff was helpful. Other things that lower my rating were the metal beds that made a lot of noise. Also the whole floor only had 2 showers working. I have never had to wait to shower in hostel before. I wish toilets had more hooks to put towels/clothes in and rooms had mirrors....

”If you really want to stay next to walk of fame, then this is your place! This literally is right on the walk, so be prepared of loads of tourists, souvenirshops and bars, there really isn't anything else than the walk of fame. ”Hostel was well-kept and the bathrooms and kitchen were always clean. The lockers in dorms could be bigger, I would’ve liked more space to lock things up. 6 bed dorm felt too small and crowded with everyone’s bags and suitcases on the floor. It was ok for a short stay but I wouldn’t choose it again. The hostel is good option if you want to be seaside, it’s only steps away from the beach. Just know that without car you need to be catching buses or Ubers to go anywhere in San Diego, it’s not...

”I enjoy this property compared to the others due to the convenience. They provide damn near everything for their guest. The rooms are clean & spacious. The female host is always friendly. Just wish the process was a quicker to get checked in. ”
