”The problem was the woman at the front desk. Since the room was locked with a key card, I assumed it was safe, so I left my phone's charger plugged in when I left the room in the morning. When I returned that night, the charger was gone. When I reported this to the front desk, they told me I could either charge it there or buy a new charger for $10. The front desk is unstaffed at various times throughout the day, and there’s no way I could stay there for hours just to charge it. Also, they said...

”I liked the stay for my sightseeing in the San Diego down town area. Convenient location and very friendly woman staff. I didn’t like the deposit deduction from my card when I chose to pay at the hotel, but it was flexibly and practically sorted out quickly through dialogue - it was good. Strict alcohol restriction inside the property reduced joyful part of my stay a bit.”

I tried to call them but they never answered so I paid for a 5night stay without even staying there for a night. ”I had issues (twice...) with the codes not working when trying to enter my room which made me feel unsafe especially when this happened midnight. Reception is not open after 10pm so I received help via Whatsapp and staff was helpful. Other things that lower my rating were the metal beds that made a lot of noise. Also the whole floor only had 2 showers working. I have never had to wait to shower in hostel before. I wish toilets had more hooks to put towels/clothes in and rooms had mirrors....
