”Excellent value. Great spot, fantastic host. If you are staying near Helen and amicalola it’s a great spot.”

”The staff was nice and helpful. Experian was hard to work with. Tried to make changes and they were not helpful.”

”We stayed in the Mallard Cabin right by the lake. Only having 1 bathroom was a bit tight for my family of 5, but luckily the office was right next door and had bathrooms if needed. The view from the porch was beautiful and we loved using the complimentary kayaks. There was a musty smell in the cabin, but it is an older building, so nothing we couldn't handle. My kids loved staying on the lake, making smores in the fire pit and playing board games on the porch. Having a full kitchen was great...

”Stayed for 2 nights, its a clean property and the rooms were clean. However, you can tell it is a little worn. Front desk staff was good and friendly. All in all, no problems, would stay here again.”

”There was only one chair in a room that was overpriced for the furnishings. The toilet paper was industrial quality on a spindle that did NOT roll.”

”Very clean and quiet.”

”The room was very clean and quaint. Perfect space for our stay. The Holliss's were very hospitable and attended to every need. I highly recommend doing breakfast. Great food and the company is a mix of people from all over. You get to meet and greet everyone and truly get a home feel while enjoying a fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.”

”Great location. Walkable to everything. The bed, pillows and sheets were super comfortable which was a pleasant surprise! Would definitely stay here again!”

”Have stayed at this property several times. Staff was friendly and accomadating!”

”Our stay was better than expected. To be clear, this is not a 5 Star hotel but for the type of hotel/ motel, it was excellent…. a 5 star experience. The staff was exceptional and the room was super clean. The unit we stayed in appeared to be newly remodeled and the bed was very comfortable. The location was within walking distance of everything downtown so that was a bonus! The breakfast was a typical continental style. We would stay here again!”

”They must have done a renovation on the rooms because the room I had was way better than the property's review. Granted you're not looking at a 4 star hotel, but the room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast left much to be desired. All in all, a very good room for the money.”
