”The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and with all the expected amenities. There were no staff on site (the key is left in a lock box). I stayed on Monday night, the restaurant is closed on Mondays (hence no interaction with staff). Unfortunately, I did not sleep very well at all due to the loudness of a generator which kept me awake all night. It felt as if I was sleeping inside a helicopter. ”Spotlessly clean hotel and everything thought about, would definitely stay again”

”Everything was great. Very helpful owner. Clean big room. Splendid bathroom. Tasty breakfast. Very good value for money.”

”Comfortable accommodation with friendly professional staff.”

”It was a lovely place to stay. Staff, rooms and food so nice would love to stay there again”

”Good sized room and bathroom. No safe in the room and on the second morning, housekeeping didn't shut the door properly so anyone could have just wandered in. I'd booked room only so can't comment on breakfast. A pleasant stay, however and location is perfect.”

”Clean room and polite staff. The spa was sup”

”Super staff. Helpful, offered to help with my parking app. All staff were friendly professional, courteous and welcoming without being intrusive. Room was clean, spacious with a good temperature. Bar on site. Central location. Highly recommend”

”Gorgeous building with interesting historical links and facts. Breakfast was nice, if a little pricey”

”I was in a single room, basic but clean. The hotel does need a refresh, and that is planned for next year. There is a gym guests can use, and spa treatments are also available (payable) in the Serenity Suite, a separate business on site. Staff were welcoming and very helpful.”
