”So with all the good that we enjoyed there are a few suggestions. We were 3 people staying 3 nights. RESTAURANT 12,5 % service charge AUTOMATICALLY added to your Restaurant bill, which was not advertised. Extra cheese on a burger means half cheese .... apparently that's how it comes. The air-conditioning in the restaurant is too cold morning and night - cools your food in minutes, take a jacket. There was a heat wave, but 17C outside at 830am does not need cold room temperatures. Ask staff...

”Good points: friendly staff at check-in, microwave and full-size fridge in room, decent wifi, good location. Less good points: overhead shower only (and a strange second shower head alongside that ran at the same time (wasteful), no full-length hanging space, cold tap sometimes ran hot so had to run it ages to get cold water (wasteful), skimpy and thin curtains that don’t cover the windows, random housekeeping. I was in room 28 at the front of the property with an exterior light directly...

”Unexpectedly an excellent nights sleep for a young family. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it was clean, well maintained, had very welcoming staff & Yorkshire tea in the rooms. The curtains were heavy black out, the windows kept the noise out, the mattress felt new and supportive & a fan was provided for the heat. My child slept & wasn’t woken up by daylight, traffic noise, the stifling heat or worries about cleanliness. Plus they could have a bath. Win.”

”Thank you for an Absolutely a fantastic stay, the room is a good size with every amenity and extra luxury touches, you want for nothing. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked well and fresh and plenty. The bed is huge and soft. And the hosts themselves couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome Would definitely stay again”

”The location of the hotel was convenient for my visit. The room, bathroom and bedding were clean but the room could do with refurbishing as the decor and furniture was a little tired and dated. All members of staff were friendly and very helpful. The parking was convenient, as were the local bakery and great coffee shop.”

”A lovely, quiet place and a great spot to relax. The hotel room and bathroom were clean, and the spa facilities were excellent. A big shout-out to Sam, who did my treatment—she was absolutely amazing and made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was that the walls were not very soundproof, so I could hear people walking around at night. Other than that, I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it.”

”We stayed in a large refurbished room, comfortable bed, large bathroom super show and nice toiletries. The breakfast was lovely there could be a better bread choice selection and it gets busy and the staff are at full stretch but it didn't detract from their professionalism. We used the bus and if you plan and get the right ticket it works saves messing around looking for parking spots.Thoroughly recommend.”
