”The hotel is clearly newly opened so of course will have teething issues that I hope they sort out. The building, reception and bar are all lovely. My room was on a basement floor and did not smell good , the WiFi was intermittent so the tv did not work as it had no aerial, the shower leaked on to the floor and it doesn’t dry out so the room did unfortunately smell of damp. There’s no hairdryer, no iron, no cups or glasses in the room, no hooks to hang anything and only two coat hangers. My room...

”I was charged an additional £5.00 for parking! That would be fine in a town but this hotel is in a motorway service station so I am not even sure it would be possible to get there by any other method. This means that I would count this as false advertising. Ramada would be better off just advertising the room at £5.00 more. It certainly left a bad taste with me. They do say that parking is charged somewhere but they hide it well! Reception area was nice. Shower was cold and heating rattle-y but...

”The hotel is amazing with plenty of activities to do. Even though the photos show younger people and the majority are over 50s even the entertainment is targeted to this group. The breakfast and the food is amazing and the grounds is breathtaking.”

The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor.
