”A lovely hotel in a nice neighbourhood. Value was good for NYC. Rooms are nicely decorated and good size for the city. Might be a good idea to bring earplugs though. Our room had no view, so ask for a one that does if that is important to you. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

”The bell staff always make our stay so welcoming . The housekeepers do a very good job. The restaurant Nice Matin continues with good food and service. We have been coming to the Lucerne for many years ”

”At first I was given a room with a great view but after a couple days realized I was hearing a back elevator till midnight starting at 6am. They were very nice about changing it to a large quiet room with no view but a definite upgrade. Nice staff and location”

”Nice hotel near subway. Area was quiet and staff was kindly. There were also some food restaurants nearby.”

”We enjoyed the location of the hotel! The property felt safe and clean, and the room was surprisingly spacious. Some noise from the streets carried very clearly to the room (7th floor), so it interrupted the sleep on occasion. The advertised breakfast was a disappointment - it’s just a coffee and a sweet pastry, which we had to request separately when the front desk said it’s not included in our stay (what it was and luckily we had it stated on the reservation).”

”Hotel Newton was closed for renovation and despite calls and requests to Expedia they continue to send messages that I would and did stay there.”

”Siivous päivittäin erinomaisesti suoritettuna. Hyvä sänky ja suihkussa riittävä vedenpaine sekä lämpötila alue. Ilmastointilaitteet huonekohtaisia, meillä oli 3 huonetta ja yksi jouduttiin vaihtamaan ilmastointikoneen takia. New York on kallis, tämä hotelli sijaintinsa ja laatunsa puolesta on mielestäni hintansa väärtti.”

”Huone oli pieni ja maalit hilseilivät seinistä ja katosta. Huoneessa ei ollut ilmastointia ja ikkunasta näkyi vastakkainen seinä. Vastaanottovirkailija oli hieman aneeminen mutta asiallinen. Hotellin sijainti on hyvä. En menisi uudelleen edes puolella hinnalla.”
