”It rains quite often, so there is always water in the waterfalls, which are quite magnificent. You can handfeed toucans and hummingbirds in the park. In the hotel room's balcony there is a hummingbird feeder so that you can watch them very close. The tour to volcano Poas was a disappointment. The staff advised us to reserve the tour on a previous day, when you have no idea about the weather in the mountain. We didn't see anything there.”

”From the moment we arrived this hotel was a wonderful experience. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a variety of local and traditional dishes to suit everyone with the best coasta rican coffee. Don’t miss the rooftop bar. The rooms were lovely. Right in the middle of downtown, walking distance to everything. They also offer a fair conversion rate from US dollars to colones. Exceptionally clean boutique hotel.”

”We didn’t spend much time at the hotel, but from our limited experience we think it is a very nice hotel. Our flight was delayed by 8 hours, so we didn’t arrive at the hotel until after 1am in the morning, and our Tour company picked us up at 6am. Even at 1am, we were greeted in the lobby and taken to the check-in desk, where we quickly and efficiently checked in. Afterwards, they walked us to our rooms. The rooms were clean and very nice, and the bed was comfortable.”

”Perfect location if you want to see actual wildlife with out having to search for it extensively. Location provides a peaceful spot as it’s not on the main road. Many other tourists we met said they could sleep well because traffic a people were so loud along the strip/main road. We saw monkeys on a mango tree right outside our room and many exotic birds too. There’s also a beautiful peacock that greets you every time you come back to the property. Very safe spot too. This is the place to stay...

”Grocery store opposite to the hotel was great. Neat room, good view to the mountains. Closeness of the airport did not show at all. Good breakfast with some variety. The only negative was that there was no hot water in the shower.”
