basic hotel, should be less expensive
very small not very clean hotel and room, terrible small and in bad condition shower, bad soap, no shampoo at all. hotel should be rated as 2 stars, not 3. however surprisingly ok breakfast. best thing is location, very close to train station, close to Grand Canal.

Reasonable price gave overall good value
The room was very small and I guess ok quality in Mediterranean country standards. But we were looking for only a budget-priced private bed to sleep in within reasonable walking distance of all Venice's attractions, so for that the room was very good. As an afterthought maybe some other hotel closer to Piazza San Marco would have been better, because the walking distances are pretty deceitful in Venice: the alleys etc take a lot more steps and time than you'd think, maybe even 3+ times more compared to the almost straight lines that I've been used to, depending on also how adventurous routes you choose and how much you look around on your way. (And yes, there is so, so, so much to see!) Because of that we tended to use the vaporetto (kind of canal bus) almost everyday at least once which is kind of costly if you are on a budget. But on the other hand, food etc. would have also been more expensive closer to Piazza San Marco, so for a budget traveler this hotel was a good find with good food close by and Venice was just behind the hotel door. Nothing concrete to complain about really.

Avoid this hotel. We found bed bugs on and we have pictures of it. We found it on first day and tried to cancel second day reservation but the property owner didn't do it. We booked another hotel and stayed. Lost money. Also noise hotel room. Don't expect good sleeps

Fine for a couple of nights, wouldn’t want to spe!
Would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. You could hear every sound from the other rooms and floors. The lift was the slowest known to man! We didn’t like having to book a slot for breakfast as it’s not always easy to predict when you want to get up, plus we found the staff quite curt. The area was nice and central and reception staff were very welcoming. Probably wouldn’t stay there again though.

O hotel é bem localizado, próximo à estação Santa Lucia em Veneza.. da pra ir andando tranquilamente. Próximo de restaurantes. Tem um ótimo café da manhã. O quarto é bem espaçoso, porém na unidade que ficamos o banheiro tinha uma adaptação no box que era inconveniente montar e desmontar. Tinha um cheiro de esgoto no quarto, mas acredito que a cidade toda é assim. Super recomendo.

サンタ・ルチア駅から徒歩で数分で便利です。ベニス観光にはベストの滞在場所であるが安く泊まることができた。 施設自体はかなり古い。ドアの鍵の開閉が難しく慣れるまで苦労した。 そういうぉとはあったが全体的にはいいホテルであった。

This hotel is a bit dated, but very clean. Easy access to shopping, dining & bars. Price was reasonable. Staff were very helpful. Continental breakfast was good. Good value.

Buena ubicación, junto a la estación del tren, lo que es cómodo porque llevar maletas por la ciudad es complicado. El desayuno estaba bien. A la ducha le faltaba una puerta.De limpieza era correcto. Pudimos dejar las maletas en un almacén tras dejar la habitación el último día, aunque no está vigilado y está con las de otros usuarios. Nos vino bien no cargar con ellas

Put us in a room on the top floor with no working air conditioning during a heatwave with no idea of when it would be fixed and could not sleep. Then the next morning they turned off the water also telling us they had no idea when it would be turned back on. We were lucky to find another hotel with availability, most were fully booked and promptly checked out. We contacted Expedia to file a complaint and request a refund for the unused night which the manager initially denied. We had to go back to the hotel to complain again at which point they finally said they would not charge us for the night we didn't stay.

Need a refund for this room. The air conditioning was broken at 40oC the room on the fifth floor, 406, was between 32 and 40oC between 4:00 pm and 1:00 am. They did nothing to help us. We had to make a reservation at another hotel in the middle of the night because they just would not fix it. Francesca at the reception was very rude. Screamed at me. Antonella knew nothing and called her boss to tell us that they could do nothing because we’ve booked with Expedia

Within minutes walk of the main station for a one night stay and well equipped for 3 people. Clean, friendly staff and close to plenty of restaurants. 30 min walk to St Mark's. Breakfast included which we couldn't make due to catching an early train, but staff were nice enough to package a take away for us to collect when leaving. Well worth the stay!

The morning breakfast was excellent ! The staff for the breakfast were friendly and it was very well organized. The check in was delayed as they didn’t have enough staff on site. We didn’t have hot water in the shower for days of our stay. We ran out of all toiletries to the room and when looking to stock them up, there was no staff to help us out. I had to get towels myself. The room was more warn down than the pictures show. The front hotel door is open at all times so at night there were drunk people coming in as there was no one at the front desk. Wifi didn’t reach our room so I had to go to the lobby to use it. When trying to connect, there was a lineup of people trying to get access to the internet at the front desk with the same time. Also barely got normal cellular reception in our room which was on the main floor. Every time i spoke to the front desk about something, they gave me attitude. I wouldn’t recommend it and wouldn’t go back to stay here but it is located in a great and convenient location

O hotel é antigo e não modernizado. A limpeza é boa. O quarto tem poucas tomadas. No banheiro não tem nada para apoiar itens de higiene, teve dia que a água não saiu quente, o secador de cabelo é antiquíssimo (parece um aspirador de pó e não funciona bem). A equipe não é simpática, apenas eficiente. O café da manhã é bom. Veneza tem hotéis muito caros, mas acho que este não foi para mim um bom custo-benefício. The hotel is old and not modernized. Cleaning is good. The room has few outlets. In the bathroom there is nothing to support hygiene items, there were days when the water did not come out hot, the hair dryer is very old (it looks like a vacuum cleaner and does not work well). The staff is not friendly, just efficient. The breakfast is good. Venice has very expensive hotels, but I don't think this one was good value for money.

The room was designed for only 2 people and they added 2 more beds to make it a room for 4 people, so the cramped and uncomfortable inside the room was terrible, in addition to the closet capacity which was enough for only two clients. one of the 2 electrical outlets that should be used for the second nightstand, which did not exist, was left on one of the added beds, so it could not be used. The air conditioning did not work so we had to sleep with the window open, the last beds did not get cool, the answer they gave regarding the latter was that at this time of year, the hotels in the area disconnect the air conditioners , which seems illogical to me, the decision on the temperature of the room must be made by the client

Utter disaster thebed fell apart twice, there was no hot water till the morning i left, the a/c did not work and i had to open a window so i was eaten alive well i slept, the one window opened to their garbage room the other to the dinning area so it was loud and could not sleep past 6:30am, the walls are paper thin..., this stay was a disaster

Location was good, close to good restaurants and waterbus stops. Breakfast was nice although we had to book in for set time slots, would have preferred more flexibility. Booked to stay here for 4 nights but upon arrival was informed that the 3 star Agli Artisti is made up of itself and 2 other hotels including one called Hotel Florida on the same street and that we would not actually be staying at Agli Artisti but at Hotel Florida instead. Florida is a 2 star hotel. The room was basic and while it was quiet in terms of noise from outside, we could hear every footstep, voice and floorboard creak in the rest of the building. In the bathroom the extractor fan didn't work, the water took a long time to heat up and there were water stains on the ceiling. Worst, my friend and I have both returned home covered in small red bumps that we are hoping aren't from bed bugs. Despite the location and price, we would not stay here again.

Older style hotel
The hotel was very close to main transport. Generally the hotel could do with some modernisation. Rooms were ok but not really insulated and tended to be dark.

This hotel was well located close to the railway station so moving our bags was just a short walk. The room had beds to sleep four but they filled the room and there was not much space left. To get to the closet you had to move the beds. The elevator takes one person and suitcase and is very slow and for us on the fourth floor would have taken close to 15 mins to move us all, so we just hauled our bags up the stairs instead. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. The room was pricey for its size but probably cheaper than most for this popular holiday vacation spot.

Great stay in Venice
Great stay in Venezia at Hotel Agli. I loved this city. My first time there. I will be back for sure. The hotel is so close to the train station, and in Venice you can walk anywhere from one side of the city to the other in 20 minutes, but in reality it will take more than 2 hours because everywhere you step is beautiful. But it is convenient to be close to the train station so you can easily move your luggage to your next destination.

Das Hotel ist sehr alt und ist sehr renovierungsbedürftigt. Fenster sind undicht, das Bad ist alt und im miserablen Zustand. Das Personal ist sehr nett und die Lage ist sehr gut, da in der Nähe des Bahnhof und Vaporettos.
