A modern apartment of approximately 110 square meters, located on the first floor of a villa in Murano, surrounded by a garden, situated directly on Venice’s northern lagoon, with a dock for mooring a boat.
The apartment was completely renovated a few years ago to make it livable year-round. It has independent heating and an air conditioning system, which is essential during certain times of the year when the weather can be quite sweltering.
Spacious kitchen fully equipped with all amenities, including a gas stove and range hood, electric oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, cleaning supplies, dishes and silverware, and a complete set of cookware.
Spacious bathroom with two windows and a view of the northern lagoon, featuring a shower, bathtub, washing machine, and hair dryer. Towels are provided by the owner.
Two televisions, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom.
Wi-Fi is available: the owner will provide the network name and password upon the guests’ arrival.
Folletto vacuum cleaner, iron, and fold-up ironing board, as well as a clothesline for clothes and linens.
Veranda with a direct view of Venice’s northern lagoon (see opening photo): from the veranda and the adjacent garden, you can admire the northern basin of the Venice estuary, with a view—just a few kilometers away—of Tessera Airport, and directly across—a few kilometers away—the islands of Burano, Mazzorbo, and Sant’Erasmo.
Spacious master bedroom with a TV and a view of the inner garden; small bedroom with a loft bed and a view of the lagoon; another small bedroom with one or two beds. Spacious closets are available in every room. A distinctive feature of the apartment is its peaceful location and the absence of noise, making it ideal for relaxation.
Guests have access to the north and east sides of the garden, as shown in the photos; tables, chairs, and lounge chairs are available. A grill for cooking meat or fish is available on the northeast side of the garden (photo).
The apartment is a 7-minute walk from the Murano Museo pier (accessible from Tessera via the Alilaguna private service) or from the Murano Navagero pier (ACTV public service from Venice; also a 7-minute walk from there). You can also arrive by boat or private taxi, as the villa has its own pier located on the east side of the garden. To reach Venice, take the vaporetto from the Murano Navagero stop; after a 15-minute ride, you’ll arrive at Fondamente Nuove, the terminal from which ferries depart for all the islands of the northern estuary; from Fondamente Nuove, walk to Campo San Bortolomio (7 minutes), Strada Nova (5 minutes), San Marco (15–20 min.)
Near the Murano Museo pier, along the canal where the famous Murano Glass Museum is located, there is a Coop supermarket. Adjacent to it is a fishmonger.
Fruit and vegetables can be purchased just a short walk from the apartment.
Four or five restaurants and bars are located around Campo San Donato, a four-minute walk from the apartment, where the Cathedral of San Donato, a 10th-century Romanesque church, is situated.
The owner, Cristiano De Biasi, a native of the island, works right in Murano and is fully available to guests during their stay.
Check-in is preferably by 6:00 p.m.
Please note that, starting this year (2024), the City of Venice has introduced a daily access fee of 5 euros for tourists who are not staying in accommodation facilities. Our guests will receive a QR code in advance that entitles them to an exemption from paying this fee, which therefore will not be due.
