Completely renovated in the summer of 2025, Al Pettirosso was designed around everything that, as travellers and parents, we truly value: spotless and welcoming spaces, comfort, functionality, thoughtful amenities, and the peace of mind of having a caring and responsive host.

Imagine spending your day wandering through the charming streets and canals of Venice, then returning just 15 minutes later by bus to a peaceful home surrounded by greenery, where you can truly relax.

That is the spirit behind Al Pettirosso.

After many years working in the hospitality industry, I decided to create a place that combines the freedom and privacy of a holiday home with the care and attention you would normally expect from a quality hospitality experience.

Every choice, from the complete renovation and furnishings to the family-friendly amenities and the little details waiting for you on arrival, has been made with one simple goal: to offer you a comfortable, relaxing stay and make you feel genuinely welcome.

• Perfect for families: on request, we provide a wide range of baby and children's equipment free of charge, so you can travel lighter and find everything ready upon arrival.

• Ground-floor convenience: the apartment is located on the ground floor with a private entrance, offering a practical and comfortable solution for all guests. No stairs to climb with luggage, strollers or heavy bags: arrival and departure are even easier.

• Genuine hospitality: I live nearby and will always be available before and during your stay to offer advice, recommendations and assistance. Whenever possible, I enjoy welcoming guests personally, but you can always count on my discreet support from remote.

A HOME DESIGNED FOR YOUR COMFORT
Al Pettirosso is a 70 m² ground-floor apartment with its own private entrance, designed to offer comfortable, practical and welcoming spaces where you can feel at home from the very first moment.

One of its greatest strengths is its two genuine double bedrooms: a feature that is becoming increasingly rare. They provide the comfort and privacy of two separate bedrooms, making the apartment ideal for families, two couples or small groups of friends, without the need for a sofa bed in the living area.

The fully equipped kitchen is designed to make you feel at home. It includes an oven, fridge with freezer, four-burner hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, American coffee maker, kettle, citrus juicer, cookware, tableware and everything you need to prepare your own meals. The Smart TV corner makes it the perfect place to gather and relax after a day exploring Venice.

The bathroom, completely renovated, features a window, a comfortable shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin.

Outside, a small private courtyard offers a quiet space to read a book, enjoy a coffee or simply relax before heading out again.

The entire apartment is equipped with modern ducted air conditioning, ensuring a pleasant temperature throughout the house during the warmer months.

Every space has been carefully designed with functionality, quality and simplicity in mind, because we believe true comfort comes from attention to detail and a genuine passion for welcoming guests.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND ON ARRIVAL
When you arrive, you will find the apartment professionally cleaned, sanitised and ready to welcome you.

Your stay includes:
• bed linen and duvets;
• a set of three towels for each guest;
• slippers;
• shower gel and soap;
• a welcome kit.

Final cleaning is also included, so at the end of your stay you won't need to worry about cleaning the apartment.

These are small touches that I have chosen to offer because I believe feeling welcome also means finding everything ready for a relaxing start to your holiday.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING WITH CHILDREN
Travelling with children often means packing far more than expected.
To help you travel lighter, I provide families with a wide range of complimentary baby equipment upon request, depending on the age of your little ones.

Available items include:
• travel cot;
• high chair;
• booster seat;
• changing mat;
• bottle steriliser;
• bottle and baby food warmer;
• step stool;
• children's plates, cups and cutlery;
• potty and toilet seat reducer.

My goal is to make every member of the family, both children and adults, feel truly on holiday.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Al Pettirosso is located in Bissuola, one of Mestre's greenest, quietest and most convenient residential neighbourhoods.
The apartment overlooks a small neighbourhood park, a peaceful green space where you can start your day or unwind after returning from Venice, away from the crowds of the historic centre.
The bus stop is within easy walking distance, with direct buses reaching Venice in around 15 minutes. Marco Polo Airport is also easily accessible by car or public transport.
Within a few minutes' walk you will find everything you may need during your stay: a large supermarket, a grocery store, cafés, pizzerias, pharmacies, tobacconists and self-service laundries.
Nearby is also Parco Albanese (Parco Bissuola), one of Mestre's largest urban parks, offering playgrounds, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sports facilities and beautiful green spaces for walking or relaxing.
The greenery surrounding the apartment is what inspired the name Al Pettirosso ("The Robin"): a tribute to the robins, blackbirds and other birds that live in the small park opposite the apartment and help create a peaceful atmosphere throughout the year.

MY PROMISE
When I created Al Pettirosso, I didn't simply want to furnish an apartment: I wanted to create a place where I would be happy to stay with my own family.
