A charming ground-floor apartment reached via a footbridge over a stream, the holiday home offers a peaceful retreat for friends and family at any time of year. The property is in the pretty town of Vernazza, one of the famous Cinque Terre villages. In the heart of the coastal hiking network, it is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful coast and the unspoiled countryside close by.

The apartment consists of a sunny living room with a sofa and armchair, next to a spacious dining room. The dining room has an antique table with chairs and a bench, plus an attractive cabinet. The separate, modern kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, coffee machine and a fridge/freezer.

Bedroom: The air-conditioned bedroom has a double bed, an armchair and an antique chest of drawers for storage.
Bedroom 2: The air-conditioned bedroom has two single beds and wardrobe.

The brightly tiled bathroom has a glass shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Location
Vernazza is known as one of the prettiest villages in Italy, with its brightly painted houses and traditional fishing harbour. There is a small sandy beach (5 minutes walk) and most of the town’s bars and restaurants are concentrated around the seafront.

Away from the beach, visitors will find some spectacular hiking along the Sentiero Azzuro, which connects all 5 towns of Cinque Terre. There is also a regular ferry service along the coast and a train service. Vernazza railway station is only a 1-minute walk from the apartment.

For self-catering there is a weekly farmers market (Tuesday morning) where you can find the best local produce. For daily needs there is a supermarket in the town (1 minute) and smaller speciality shops for fish, wine and charcuterie.

Pisa’s International Airport is 1 hour and 35 minutes and Genova’s International Airport is a 1 hour, 45-minute drive from the apartment.
