Hideaway Loft is a secluded 460-sq-ft retreat at Casa del Mar — just a five-minute walk to an uncrowded East Cape beach with easy access to swimming, snorkeling, and nearby surf. Quietly set apart from the other lofts and opening onto its own private desert garden, it’s ideal for surfers, solo travelers, or couples seeking privacy, simplicity, and time close to nature.

Casa del Mar sits above the Sea of Cortez within the gated community of Cabo Vinorama, perfectly positioned between San José del Cabo and Cabo Pulmo. Here, the desert meets the sea and days unfold at a slower, more natural pace — without giving up modern comfort.

Spend your days walking the shoreline, paddling out at local breaks like La Poza or Punta Perfecta, or exploring the quiet beaches of La Fortuna. Return to unwind in your garden, soak in the jacuzzi, or relax by the infinity pool as the light fades over the water.

The Loft

Hideaway Loft is designed for comfort and seclusion and includes:

Two twin beds (or a king upon request)

A full en-suite bathroom

A kitchenette for light meals and morning coffee

Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and smart TV

A private terrace and enclosed desert garden with its own grill

Just beyond the garden are shared amenities including the heated jacuzzi, outdoor grill with picnic table, and a short walk to the fire pit for relaxed evenings under the stars. Upstairs, the infinity pool and lounge deck offer sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez.

Thoughtful spacing and low density throughout the property ensure a strong sense of privacy.

Getting Here & What to Expect

Casa del Mar is approximately 40–50 minutes from San José del Cabo via the scenic East Cape coastal road. The final stretch is unpaved and part of the experience. We meet guests at the Cabo Vinorama gate and guide you to the property within the gated community.

The beach is a five-minute walk. Surfing and ocean activities require appropriate experience and equipment. Grocery shopping should be planned in advance.

This is a quiet, low-density retreat. Registered guests only. No parties or loud music after 10pm. No smoking indoors. As an off-grid solar home, we ask guests to conserve water and energy.
