”The units are in a luxury apartment building so the only hiccup I experienced was the lack of coordination between the onsite front desk and the reps that answer the phones for the reservation. ”We loved the downtown location! The parking specifically for unit c is very tight so we had to park on the other side. Walking down to the basement is a chore! Stairs are very tight, but the kids loved it! Had a musky pet smell mostly upstairs in the carpeted areas. The upstairs bathroom in particular was very dirty. I had to rinse the tub out because there was hair everywhere. There were only 3 towels left in the bathroom and 5 of us. We ended up finding more in the downstairs(basement) closet...

”I was in Charlottesville to move my son into his dorm at UVA. This place was awesome! It was very close to Grounds and easy to get to. It had everything you needed and was very clean. I received excellent communication about checking in and out and even was left a thank you gift. I would love to stay longer and take full advantage of all the amenities. Definitely another stay in my near future. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Charlottesville!”

”Greatest host! Wants you to feel comfortable and he is welcoming, with much attentive to details. Great location, super feeling of safety but within the fun parts of the city. Museums, Carytown, restaurants all so accessible. He's there if you need anything but not intrusive at all. Don't be worried about the parking...you feel like you're part of the neighborhood. I would definitely want to stay there again..”

After a couple of conversations with the manager, we asked for our reservation to be cancelled and not to be charged. Tony (the manager?) agreed to do so.
