”The Lodge was very clean and cozy. My husband and I came in for an endurance event and arrived late but was still easy to check in and get settled. Coffee, water and snacks were provided for us. I loved sitting out on the top front porch once the temps started to cool. It was also nice when a few other guests checked in for the weekend.”

The room was clean, the beds were soft, and they have great hot water! The town itself is very small and quiet. ”I absolutely loved this property! What a unique idea, to build 4 rooms above the marina's restaurant. The views from our room were amazing - even at night when the boats and docks were all lit up with lights. Just gorgeous. Very peaceful. Also the in room coffee was delicious - I could have sat there drinking coffee and looking out at the view all day! I will keep this place in mind for a future "getaway."”

”We rented the Middleburg Cottage. Perfect set up for us. Nice living room, dining room, kitchen, and two bedrooms. Great breakfast delivered to our door. The only downside is we were there on a Sunday night. The Tavern and restaurant are closed on Sundays. Leaving us scrambling to make dinner plans. Otherwise, it was the perfect 24-hour stay.”

”Very beautiful historic tavern. The rooms are on the second and third floor so after you check in the staff will shoe you to the room. It can be a bit confusing navigating the building but it is full of historic architecture and portraits of presidents that had visited before. We booked the smallest room which was very cozy and had a gorgeous view of the courtyard. The staff had laid out on a table some water bottles, coffee pods, and two cookies. There was no fridge or microwave in the smallest...
