”The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful.”

”Good for a short stay, very basic pub accomodation. Located practically in the middle of nowhere and there's no possibility to go for a walk or a run in the evening. The pub downstairs is good, with reasonably priced food and drinks. Friendly staff. Stayed at the room 12 which at the time of my stay didnd't have any shower! This is unacceptable even temporarily, such room should not be offered at all.”

”We visited the hotel for a business meetings nearby. The place is very traditional English Inn. Nice pub with good food. The rooms are clean and ok, but the place is a little worn down. I a still like it.”

”The room decor and facilities are excellent, but the room itself is only the size of most single rooms. Its small 4ft 6ins bed has only just enough room to edge around it. There is no wardrobe for clothes. ”

”New hotel - nice, clean, newly and tastefully decorated, great location in the middle of Henley-on-Thames, not far from the river. Good breakfast and dinner. Very nice external seating area with retractable roof and TVs to watch sport (world cup was on). Other good restaurants, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local nearby. Still need to fix some teething problems - coffee pods and machine provided weren’t matched, no air conditioning in the room (we stayed during a heat wave - electric fan kindly...

”I stayed here for two nights for my daughter's wedding which was local. The rooms are clean with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom had a bath and over bath shower. The furniture in the room was tatty and really needs replacing. The chair was worn and the veneer was coming off the bedside table however the bed was comfortable and I slept well.
