”I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore.
The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails.
We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them.
The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle.
The bed was comfortable and the room was warm.”

”The evening meal available consisted of a vegetarian or meat three course meal presented as a buffet.I thought the quality and value for money was excellent.Staff in the restaurant were very helpful and attentive as were all other staff in the hotel. I enjoyed my stay whilst attending a conference nearby.”
