”The hotel was lovely and clean and the food delicious.
The lady who waited our table was really friendly and talkative
The bedroom was clean and tidy with everything we need and the bathroom was huge with a nice big bath and walk in shower
My partner and I had a really lovely relaxing stay and would definitely return

”This is the second time we have stayed at Peckforton Castle
On this occasion we had a nicer room with a fabulous view of the front lawn. We visited the wine cellar bar but were disappointed to find that we were unable to pursue a menu over pre dinner drinks , because they were “ printed daily “ it would have been nice to look at it before being seated

”A lovely and very affordable stay in a nice quiet room! Every inch of the room was pristinely clean and tidy. The reception staff member was very helpful, professional and efficient.
The only improvements would be as follows:
- A fridge in the room would have been a helpful amenity
- The pillows were extremely chunky so maybe an option of a flatter size?
- The bins in the car park were overflowing with rubbish
- The curtains need to be longer as they let in light all the way along the...

”Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year.”

”This hotel was brilliant! It was clean, peaceful and the atmosphere was really warm and welcoming. The breakfast was appetising and fresh and tasty.
The staff were concientious, friendly and welcoming and happy to help.
All in all I can't recommend The Vicarage enough and would be more than happy to stay there again! ”

”Friendly staff, room fantastic, very clean comfortable, nice shower room excellent views, great meals staff very good nothing to much, fantastic breakfast great selection of products. Fantastic hot tubs right temperature very relaxing. Fantastic value for money. I will ne definitely back.”
