Beautiful little cabin with everything. Needed for our quick visit north. Very clean with comfy beds and lots of space for a small cabin. Host was so great when I had questions and very prompt with answers. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here for 3nights and absolutely love this place! A very comfortable, cozy and peaceful experience. The host has thought of everything to make this “like new” log home feel like you’re home away from home. From the Alaska themed decor. To the comfortable bed and practical furnishings. To well thought out amenities and minor details. The neighborhood is peaceful and away from the busy areas. There’s even a stocked, covered patio/fire pit area. We would definitely stay here again!

I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Very quiet and private. The cabin is spotless and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and had plenty of blankets. The only caveat I would add is that the stairs to the loft are very steep and narrow. If one has mobility issues the downstairs bedroom would be your option. The host is very responsive and check in is smooth. Definitely would stay here again.

The cabin was extremely clean and well-appointed. It was a perfect blend of modern amenities (WiFi, TVs, washer/dryer, etc.) and Alaskan decor. We appreciated the high quality shades (helpful with falling asleep during Alaskan summer). We were able to meet Ben while we were there and he was very friendly. If visiting the area in the future, we would stay here again.

We cannot express how much we enjoyed staying in Ben's Alaska Log Home 2. If his goal was to deliver a 5 star experience he delivers more! The cabin is extremely comfortable and impeccably clean with everything one could hope for. We used the BBQ grill and fire pit most evenings during our stay. The property is very quite and beautiful! We most definitely will be staying here again when we return to visit Alaska in the future!

Clean and comfortable!

Our first visit to Alaska was awesome! This log home was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely choose this place again if we come back to Alaska. We did a guided hike on Matanuska Glacier (Mica Guides) that was informative, amazing and beautiful! We also took a fun trip to the town of Talkeetna. This cute town and many fun little shops and great places to eat. Ben was quick to respond to a question I had. I highly recommend this home!

Beautiful house for the last couple nights of our two week trip. The host made sure that we felt welcomed and left some chocolates, milk and cereal, and few other starters. The place was clean. We really liked the attention to detail and made good use of the fire pit. The wifi was fast and available at all times. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if in Alaska.

Great Base Camp to explore

Had a great time at this cabin, everything thing you could possibly need. Stores and groceries are near by and food deliver is available. Got to meet Ben and he was very helpful in whatever we needed. Will definitely be coming back, no doubt. Highly recommend these cabins.

Home sweet Home

I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful cabin while working in Wasilla for the week. My husband and i loved having such a beautifully appointed homebase to enjoy. Ben was an amazing host, the property had everything we needed and the wildlife consisting of foxes and rabbits were an added bonus. Beautiful sunsets and so many places to explore in the area. I travel often for work and this has been my favorite VRBO rental by far. I hope we get to come back someday for vacation!
