”The cottage on Finger Lakes was picturesque. It had all the basics on the property. Although the water was accessible and beautiful the mini dock was not secured to the ground and could create an accident if someone is not balanced or aware. Unfortunately, there were no detergent pods for the dishwasher so dishes were not washed. It was our first encounter with the Finger Lakes region, but left underwhelmed. Our stay was on July 4th but unfortunately there were no festive activities in the...

”Very nice property, host was very helpful and easy to contact. We enjoyed our stay!”

”Kishan is a courteous responsive host. Booking was confirmed promptly and message replies were timely. This is a cute cottage conveniently located near Long Point State Park (walking distance) and The Inns of Aurora (short drive to restaurant / spa). Also close to King Ferry Corner Store, a quaint shop for groceries / supplies / some local artisan items. Kitchen has dishes/cooking supplies necessary for meal prep and had a well-stocked pantry with cooking oil, spices, and some basic staples....

”The property had a lake view and the inside was dated but clean. As we parked next to the house, the garage on the left (which belongs to someone else) had broken windows with junk inside the garage. Not a big deal but not a good first impression. The bathroom is very small and is directly off the kitchen. Kitchen and living room are adequate. Although there is an AC window unit in the window and if you sit in front of it, it is difficult to hear the tv. There is a train track by the house and...

”Very clean, comfortable beds, and furniture. We loved the surroundings. Beautiful home and very tastefully decorated. Host was most gracious. Family enjoyed are one night stay on out way to niagara Falls.”

”The best thing about this listing was the location (right on Lake, close to town). Other pros: Kayaks (which my kids loved), timely communication with Owner, Well equipped Kitchen, Lots of outdoor space, ease of check in. TV setup. Plenty of linens. The views. Laundry was great. Gas Grill with extra Propane Tank.Cons: Bathroom (using the toilet was hard for a bigger guy like myself), Kitchen prep space (counters small - out door picnic table was great), Main bed was uncomfortable for my wife (I...

”Everything was wonderful. Only comment I have is the “lake view” is just a small view between 2 houses across the street.”

”This house was excellent. Very clean and had a well-stocked kitchen with everything you need. Also had plenty of towels for the family. The beds were very comfortable and it’s very quiet. Very easy to get to Penn Yan by car in a few minutes. We will definitely rent this property again.”
