âI spent one night at the Throstles Nest Hotel. The room was a bit small, but it contained everything I needed (a bed and a water source). Of course, it would have made the stay more pleasant if the toilet and the shower had not been placed in the corridor, but all in all, this hotel was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was in a walking distance from Anfield and Goodison park that were the main attractions for me.â

âThe hotel looks impressive. Staff were very attentive. The room was nice, spacious and a nice temperature. There were a few crumbs, fluff and a receipt on the floor so could have been cleaner. The biggest disappointment was the lack of biscuits. Perhaps swap the shoe shine kit or shower cap for some biscuits. It's a shame as the coffee facilities were good but only 2 tea bags and 2 coffee pods.

Staff was extremely friendly on check-in. Room and bed were very comfortable for my two night stay. Bathroom fixtures were a little dated, however, everything was very clean and worked perfectly. Didnât get a chance to enjoy the bar/restaurant but looked like a nice place.

âThe apartments was comfortable and larger than expected. It had basic facilities including a kettle and coffee. The block has no foyer and the reception area was tiny and functional, more what you would expect with an apartment block them with a hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful Though not always on site. When I came back to collect my case it was unsupervised and I was unable to find any staff numbers.â
