”My husband and I were on a 3 week driving tour of the UK. We booked this place for 1 night and didn’t anticipate it being anything special. I am SO sad we were only there one night! The room was on the smaller side but very nice. The area was absolutely perfect. The food we had was delicious and just steps away. The locals were so helpful and nice. And the walking paths and the views were incredible. I miss this place already! It was a true highlight on our trip. The only issue we had was...

”Was welcomed on arrival by Paul the wonderfully helpful manager and upgraded to a chalet outside. Spotlessly clean room, big, comfortable bed with good quality linens. Parking was right next to our chalet which was handy. The main hotel building is being renovated, so there aren't many facilities or amenities, but we still had a very good stay.”

”Set in a beautiful and unique setting, the place provides a great place to stay. Lack of lifts does make it harder to get to the top floors especially with luggage. The only issue were the very heavy fire doors on the bedrooms that made a lot of noise when opened and closed.”

”Beautiful stay with amazing views/setting and the staff were so friendly and helpful, particularly Puneet who checked us in and the restaurant staff (I forgot to get their names sorry!) who were very attentive and gave great recommendations. Food was also delicious, highly recommend the Indian! And really recommend booking the hot tub and sauna. We will definitely come back!”
