Sijainti täydellinen bussilla/lautalla/junalla saapuville. Huone mukava ja tilava. Keittiö ja kylpyhuone siistässä kunnossa. Hinta-laatusuhteeltaan hyvä yöpymispaikka lyhyelle käynnille Wellingtonissa. Ystävällinen henkilökunta!

Ruoka oli mitä surkeinta. Aamiainen huonoin mitä olen syönyt. Hotelli on jo vanha ja vähän risainen. Tunnelma entisestä loistohotellista antaa kyllä hieman viehättävyyttä mutta kai sitä olisi voinut samaan hintaan saada ihan hotellin

Huge building and easy to find! Really nice stuff and good room with toilet. Near ferries terminals. Nothing to complain really. Nice common rooms and little restaurant and bar downstairs. Wifi actually sucks but it's NZ so...

Best before -date has gone
Stayed 3 nights in nov 2013. This ancient art deco -hotel is now a backpacker factory in good location with an own cafe and restaurant and travel booking office. The staff was helpfull, but my 1 person room beside the backyard was in a bad condition. Especially the badroom needs a facelift. The view from the window was ugliest I´ve seen in NZ.

To be honest we were not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. A good size king bed and room was clean as was the shared toilet although no one seemed to be in the other room. Across the road from train station and bus depots so excellent if you had no hire car. Only thing it didn’t have was a fridge

ドミトリーに宿泊しましたが、ドーム二部屋の前室にトイレ２つとシャワールーム３つがついていて、前室自体ももちろん鍵で開閉できるので早朝深夜などの荷造り荷解きや洗顔後のケアなどは前室でできるし、寝ている人に気を遣わなくていいので、この造りはかなり善しだと思います。 洗濯機も数があるし、キッチンも広いし駅から徒歩１分、コンセントも多い、使い勝手かなり良かったです。

The room was clean & tidy. Waiting time to book in & out could be quicker if there were two staff members at the reception desk as opposed to one. Difficulties finding a 10-15 parking spot close to the entrance in order to drop off luggage etc as vehicle had to be parked at Grey Street secure parking

Yes it was pretty cheap but for this price I still expect a shower that is useable, I went without as it was so disgusting. The check in process was ridiculously slow with just one person serving. Definitely would not stay there again!

The location was great for the Bluebridge ferry and train station. It is on a busy road/corner and there was significant traffic noise. The room was pleasant (en suite) but parts of the hotel were a bit shabby- but what was expected.

Convenient. Worn but with a glorious past
Very good location at the railway station. (I traveled by train and ferry.) Close to grocery store and fast food restaurants. Refrigerator available (in the guest kitchen). No breakfast was offered but there was a guest kitchen. Good price. It was a convenient place. I had a small single room. The room was dirty but the bedding was clean. The room was damp. I had some wet cloths. They did not dry in 48 h in my room. The room was a bit cold. The house and interior was worn. But also, in the common room there were beautiful decorations. The place has obviously had a glorious past.

We had a queen room with our own bathroom . It was fairly clean . The shared kitchen was well organized . The hostel was really close to the train station and a grocery store and that’s the main reason we chose the hostel . But The room was quite small , not very sound proof . The bed wasn’t very comfortable . Tv reception was terrible and wifi was not very good . But you pay for what you get . And we only stayed one night so it was ok .

I do love this hotel/backpackers. The first time in a dorm though. The light above the bunk did not work. There could have been more seating as the 2 metal stools had been taken over by some of the others in the room with their belongings. The bunks need WD40 or something to stop the constant squeaking each time you move. Aside from that it was fine.
