”We loved the white Hart Inn, it was our Golden wedding anniversary and everyone was so welcoming and we felt very spoilt. Nothing was too much trouble and the food is amazing as are the portions. Karen was lovely at breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Overall we would definitely return. Loved it.”

”Lovely old pub. Comfortable room with everything supplied. Nicely decorated. Not spotlessly clean, but it was dog friendly. Friendly, helpful staff. Great base to come back to after walking. Easy walk into Hawes. Good atmosphere for an enjoyable drink or food. Open fires were lit and so relaxing to sit by. Good breakfast with excellent service. ”River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. Beds are well made and comfortable and the bathrooms have everything you need from shampoo and conditioner to hand soap. Highly recommend a stay here, it’s a shame we...

”If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds.
