”A little noisy 9-10 o’clock out in the 4th floor hallway. I had to check our door 3-4 times as I thought someone was trying to break-in. Nothing seen. May have been a guest in & out of their room not being considerate of others.”

”I had issues (twice...) with the codes not working when trying to enter my room which made me feel unsafe especially when this happened midnight. Reception is not open after 10pm so I received help via Whatsapp and staff was helpful. Other things that lower my rating were the metal beds that made a lot of noise. Also the whole floor only had 2 showers working. I have never had to wait to shower in hostel before. I wish toilets had more hooks to put towels/clothes in and rooms had mirrors....

”This is an incredible value in SF. It's an older building in-town so the rooms aren't huge (but perfectly fine, clean and comfortable) and the bathrooms are small. But the place has tons of (good) character, history, and a fantastic gym/locker room (the pool was under maintenance when I was there but it's a great asset). And, terrific spot up top for dinner and wonderful breakfast. Loved this place, what a find, highly recommend. ”

”Tried really hard to love this place - fabulous lobby, staircase and lounge. Our room while large lacked natural light - partially due to tree outside but also a window that probably hadn’t been cleaned externally in years. Bar/bistro not open early afternoon and closed at 9 pm. Given that the surrounding area isn’t great to wander round this wasn’t good.”

”Property was nice and clean and had been renovated. Enjoyed our stay it’s nice. They gave us earplugs because the restaurant across the street plays loud music until 10 o’clock and after that it was fine. We will come stay there again thanks”
