”We stayed for one night & chose the larger room when we booked so had plenty of space. Loved the decor & ordered the waterfall prints that were in the room when we got home to remind us of the waterfalls. Room did get hot (very warm weather when we stayed) but there was a fan & we probably hadn't got the velux windows open as far as they could go. Booked a table when we booked in & had a very enjoyable evening meal.”

”A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. ”

”We have just had a long weekend at Blas Gwyr it was superb. The rooms are spacious and very clean around a lovely little court yard. Breakfast is the best 10/10. ”Parc La Breos House is a Victorian (mostly) pleasure. Our room (6) was a good size. The view was over the farm buildings which aren't the most picturesque, but it is nice to see a working farm. It did mean the farm vehicles started up about 7am, but that is to be expected! The grounds are beautiful and very well kept by the brothers who live there. The lounge has gorgeous paneling and a spectacular fireplace that was brought from Italy with Seville tile inset. It would be a wonderfully cozy...

”I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”
