”Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful.
Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere.
Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking.
Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.”

”Had a lovely one night stay. Room was clean and well presented. Staff were welcoming and helpful. There is a decked area for drinks in the evening (as long as there isn’t a wedding on) and you can sit looking at the great view and watch the sunset. The food was amazing, we had a 3 course dinner the night we arrived, great value for money and extremely reasonable priced (my husband is a chef, so is usually hard to please when it comes to eating out, but even he said the food was amazing)....

”Staff were amazing, we stayed during a heatwave and they were helpful with ice from the bar. Other instances such as needing forks, hangers in our room and new towels were treated with the same professionalism ! The rooms do need a bit of updating but for what it was the price is exstremely reasonable. The room was very clean when we arrived. We didn’t have any housekeeping during our stay, but that is our preference so this did not affect us. Ideal stay as a couple visiting Cardiff or the...

”The staff when we checked in was so friendly and helpful. But the lift is not working and their air conditioning is barely working, it’s not good with this weather. But all the staff are friendly and polite.”

”Our room was excellent - recently decorated with good facilities - our only problem was with the shower (no instructions). We had an evening meal which was very well presented. No breakfast available but there are coffee shops and cafes in the village. The staff were very helpful.
We would happily stay here again.”
