”Suosittelen MonkBridge Housea kaikille Yorkissa majoittuville. Bnb sijaitsee hieman keskustan ulkopuolella, mutta matka keskustaan on nopea ja selkeä. Myös julkisella liikenteellä pääsee helposti kulkemaan. Majoitus itsessään oli loistava. Huone oli todella siisti, kotoisa ja kauniisti sisustettu. Kaikki oli selkeästi mietitty loppuun asti, jonka ansiosta yöpyminen sujui täysin ongelmitta. Omistajat Fiona ja Paul ovat hyvin ystävällisiä ja avuliaita. Paulin kokkaama aamiainen oli erittäin...

”Your classic inn with worn down rooms and most basic breakfast. Uninterested staff who coukdn’t care less that there were BLOOD STAINS on the rug of our room. Got another room which after confirming two times was not similar than the bloody one we left behind. ”

”Nice and modern hotel close to the centre and key locations. Only negative aspect was the really loud music playing in the lobby, which makes it quite annoying entrance everytime you return to the hotel. Luckily the sound insulation is top class and you can’t hear the music - or anything else for that matter - in the rooms. ”

Though keep in mind it's an old building so the windows don't fully open, there's no AC and the fan they provide does absolutely nothing to cool you down...so with the warm weather be prepared to bake.”

”When checking out our room was different, we are from Arizona and never used anything like this, we had to use the key card to turn on electricity to the room. The bed was comfortable and clean, air conditioner worked great and the shower was excellent. The staff was excellent and answered all my questions.The laundry room was ok, washed all the clothes well, but drying the clothes wasn't that good after an hour still had to let the clothes dry in our room.Kitchen was nice had a dishwasher and...

”Nice spacey room no complaints re cleanliness. Good varied choice for breakfast. Welcoming staff. A little criticism is that the bedroom window in room 34 did not fully close & traffic travelling by in the street had the effect of rattling the window this though did not spoil stay. Reported to reception at end of stay.”

The rooms were clean and to a high standard, roomy and with a good shower room. There is a lot of interesting artwork throughout. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We booked two rooms. Room servicing is only on request, we asked our rooms to be made up each day, sadly our friends room was not properly made up on arrival and servicing of the rooms was a bit hit...
