”Beautiful hotel, very clean, nice rooms and bathrooms, golf simulator in the lobby, beautifully presented free breakfast, ice machines also dispense water, fast elevators. Only drawback is the hotel's immediate surroundings. It is almost like it is in an industrial/business park and there are construction sites around it, so it will never have a nice view of anything. Room had a fridge, but no microwave, but we were able to have one delivered. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!”

"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
