”Our family stayed five nights in two queen sixed beds rooms. Rooms were nice and clean. Housekeeping came everyday.
Our rooms were next to the nearby highway and the traffic noises were quite loud.
Breakfast was better than in other hotels we stayed: pancakes, boiled eggs, breakfast muffins, yoghurt, cerials, bagels, fruit...
Only minus was hotel wifi which did not really worked anywhere.

”This is a lovely unit, well appointed and well decorated. The kitchen has everything you need for basic meal prep. Plenty of linens, the beds are comfy. There is a little trail behind to row that comes out right across from mini-golf. Our grandkids loved all of the amenities of the lodge, and the cost to use those facilities was reasonable. Stop and pick up the full size map at the Lodge, it will give you detailed hours and prices for the specific time of your stay. They are very friendly and...

”This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Big room with a separate sitting area, everything new and clean and modern design.
It was a little bit of a trick figuring out how to get to their parking (you have to check in first, then use your key card to get in and get out), but I really appreciated that after we checked out we could leave the car there until 3, so we were able to leave the car there while we did stuff in the morning. ”I was pleasantly surprised about how upscale and beautiful the hotel was. The room was great with all the amenities and decor especially for the price I got.However there were some issues and my ratings shouldnt have been so high.
Someone nextdoor spent hours singing and talking on a phone in the bathroom and I could here it LOUD and clear, but on the bright side at 4am staff was there quickly to address.

"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
