”The Crown is one of our favourite places to stay. We would never visit England without making a stop for a few days at The Crown in Chiddingfold! The staff are wonderful and welcoming! The rooms are comfortable and historic!”

”What a gem of a find!! Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Comfortable bed in a stunning room, complimentary products from hand wash to gin were of excellent quality. Breakfast was full English for us was superb. The Bel and Dragon is definitely top of our list for places to stay. ”

”Check in was good, car park was busy - it was bank holiday Monday but there is parking on main road. Clean room with bath nice! Bar very good and sat outside in the sunshine ☀️😄 Dinner and breakfast was good as always”

”Nice location, in the deep of Surrey AONB but that’s where it ends. The building itself is dated and needs modernising. It’s great as somewhere to lay your head. Small bathroom, thin pillows and duvets. ”

”Warm welcome. Single room compact. Shower was amazing, best ever. Room decor could be spruced up. Honesty Bar. Evening Dinner was delicious but slightly expensive. Breakfast cooked to order for 0700hrs. Great coffee and breakfast highly recommended. ”

”Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you.”

”The woman sitting at a tiny table with a laptop got every room mixed up, I ended up in a family room with my sibling, my 2 elderly great aunts were put in a double and my great uncle ended up in a single room which was in the attic, she had no idea and obviously gave the rooms to all the wrong people despite me showing her my booking! The whole place smelt damp and was dirty throughout, the beds were disgusting as was everything else, couldn't wait to get out of that horrible old rundown awful...
