Lomamökit – Wester Ross

”Perfect location for our half way stop on NC 500 so glad we had sunshine as the roads to the cottage would be challenging in bad weather. We did try to drive down to the beach for sunset but missed the turning and ended up stuck behind a herd of cows. It was good to light a fire have a drink and warm up a pizza. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but we forgave it because everything else was so good ( and we do usually sleep on king size vspring which is difficult to match away from home) ”

”Moriston Cottage is a delightful house right in the middle of Lochcarron, a very lovely small village on the water. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the house is well furnished and provisioned with all required for an enjoyable stay. Communication with property management was at all times fast and very helpful. We would recommend this property and the location very highly. ”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage was quintessential Scottish and beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker for those of us who would like a pot of coffee and didn’t have a dryer. Fortunately we were able to dry clothes in the glorious sunshine while we were in the Highlands. Strathpeffer was a lovely place to visit. Drove to Ullapool for the day, great day trip. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful spot!”
