Perfect relaxing nature retreat for a gathering. Quiet with no neighbors.

There is a peaceful easy feeling about this secluded point lot along the corridor of Lake Hartwell and Tugaloo river. Relax on one of multiple decks, or in the gazebo, and enjoy the scenery and abundant wildlife. Some of the pictures are with water at full level. Currently the water has receded and been replaced by what looks like the salt marshes and swamps of the South Carolina Low Country and is very quiet and beautiful.
Beautiful hiking and bike trails, wineries and waterfalls are all within easy access. There’s even a 9 hole golf course not far away. For you to enjoy we have 2 bikes, games of corn hole, Jenga, or wooden ladder toss.
Surrounded by the sounds of nature, see how many different species of birds you can spot and admire the many constellations of stars that appear in the clear night skies. Enjoy eating your meals, perhaps grilled on the gas grill, while sitting on the deck, or in the gazebo, enjoying the natural beauty with s’mores cooked around the fire pit for dessert.

This divine location has capacity to sleep 14, featuring 4 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms with queen bed in each. In addition one of the rooms includes a bunk bed with twin bed on bottom bunk and and a further single bed with a large flat screen SMART TV. In the basement en-suite bedroom there’s also a sofa bed that sleeps two and a TV. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, and smoking is not allowed inside the house.

Our home has a fully equipped kitchen with a large pantry, an eat at kitchen island with stools, and all stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator with water/ice dispensing in freezer door. Off the kitchen, overlooking the marsh area there’s a large lounge with plenty of comfortable couches and armchairs. As well as a large flat screen SMART TV, we have internet so you can download your apps, and there is a desk with monitor and printer for those that need to keep up with the office while relaxing. There’s a large sliding glass door that leads out to the split level deck so you can enjoy breathtaking natural views from inside or out. If you choose to eat indoors, there’s a beautiful long dining table with plenty of seating, again with exceptional nature views for you to enjoy.

The games room has a full size pool table, with a flat screen SMART TV, so you can have your favorite show on while shooting pool. Off of the games room is one of the four full bathrooms and a second kitchen that leads into the laundry room that accommodates a washer and dryer.

This jewel of a home is located one and a half hours north of Atlanta, 15 minutes from Toccoa where you can find a well stocked Ingles grocery store and a wide diverse choice of all the eating options you could need from fast food to fine dining. Beauty spots such as Toccoa Falls and many wedding locations are less than 15-30 mins away. Shopping and sight seeing locations of Hartwell, Seneca, Clemson, Anderson, Helen and Walhalla within easy travel distance.
