”I can't say enough for how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Our room was clean, housekeeping offered daily. Pool was very clean and tidy. Continental breakfast offered with clean and well tended dining area. This motel reminded me of places I stayed as a kid, very nostalgic. These folks offer true hospitality.”

”Having been in for the Boilermaker, we found this location to be of good value and within a close proximity to the race. The staff were friendly and accommodating allowing us to come back after the race for a late check out so we could shower. There's a Walmart nearby so it was convenient if we needed anything. Ultimately, we'd be glad to do it all over again next year for the race.”

”When we arrived it felt a bit warm in the lobby. We got to our room and it was 71 in the room after turning the temp down and going to supper the temp had not changed. The lady at the front desk moved us to different room. The temp was 75 in that room, and did not change. We later found out that the a/c was broken in the entire hotel. Apparently it had been broken for a couple of days. The manager continued to rent rooms knowing it was in the 90s during the day. Very poor management and poor...

”The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. If you like to sleep in, this is not the room for you due to breakfast noise. The breakfast was good and timely. There was a hot option (bread pudding and chicken and herb sausage)...
