”We found the cabin to be a restful spot. Hot tub waa nice. ”

”The check in process took forever. The lady at the front was friendly but new and had no idea what she was doing. While standing there and she was calling for help i watched german roaches climb on the desk through her folder holder. Once we got to our room it was ok. Cleanish...shower was gross. Ashtray out on back porch was full of used cigarettes and the seats were very worn in. Will not stay here again. ”

”The views and the property were wonderful. Really enjoyed the suite. Only minor issues were no kitchen utensils and not enough toilet paper or no paper towels for the length of the stay.”

”Found this little gem on a whim. Conveniently located and within walking distance to shopping and dining. Cute little coffee bar in the front lobby with a variety of coffee, creamers, teas and hot chocolate! Room was very clean and beds/pillows were comfy. High recommend! ”

”Newer property, clean, good location. Unfortunately most guests are construction crew for highway repairs working late shifts. Woken up at 4:15 each morning by large trucks backing into spots with safety horns beeping. Woken up again at 6am by day shift cranking large trucks and letting them warm up for 15 minutes. Talked to front desk asking if they could ask crew to not back into spaces and they said NO. ”

”The only elevator was out of service so was ice maker on first floor. Only ice on third floor. Room needs upgrades. Toilets too low tile cracking. Cushion on bench peeling and small tv. Was clean and the was very helpful and nice.”

”The Herren House is historic and meets all of the charm of a house that old. The location was absolutely perfect to walk to town for shopping and meals. It was very clean but dated. The check-in was seamless, automated, but impersonal. The room was spacious but chilly. Additional blankets and a rug or drapes to close would add to the warmth. I'd stay there again but plan on the chilly room better.”

”This motel is in a great location for walking around Bryson City. The staff that we interacted with were kind and helpful. Our room was good with enough space to move around and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was relatively updated but kind of small and I can't imagine a larger person being able to get into the shower. And there was no way to just have the light on without the noisy fan. All in all though it was a good affordable place to stay while we explored the area.”

The staff was also very attentive and responsive to our calls and requests. This is the perfect option for those who want a little mountain getaway.”
