The location is rather remote from the main city centre and the surroundings near the hotel are a bit dodgy, without any services nearby. On the positive side, the Strood train station is very near the hotel, so if using this station the location is very convenient. ”Centrally located hotel with a nice bar which had live jazz music on Friday afternoons. The rooms seem fairly new in their decor and there was a nice comfortable bed. We were given the option of taking an accessible room as we booked very last minute and it was incredibly spacious and we didn't hear any noise. We didn't eat in the hotel. ”
