”A lovely hotel that has very special jungle-hut fiiling. The environment is very lovely with all the trees and bushes, lots of iguanas and even colibris! The pools were more like ponds, and not that clean so if you're looking for great pools this is not for you (though the poolside sunbeds were very comfy), then again the beach is good and with the clear waters of Curacao it would a waste of a holiday to spend it on pool! Good service, also in the beach restaurant and very good breakfest....

”Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja huoneemme oli sekä siisti että kaunis. Ilmastointi tässä hotellissa oli ehdottomasti paras kaikista Curaçaon hotelleista (yövyimme yhteensä 4 eri hotellissa). Hotellissa ei ollut hissiä ja takapiha (näkymä parvekkeelta) oli epäsiisti ja umpeenkasvanut puutarha. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen, mikäli lähtö on aikaisin aamulla tai saapuminen myöhään illalla. Hotellilla ei kuitenkaan ole omaa kuljetusta kentälle/kentältä, mikä oli mielestämme hieman...

”Hotelli oli rauhallinen ja henkilökunta ystävällistä.Maaterassit olemattomat ja muiden asukkaiden kulku edestä. Uima-allas todella pieni, tarkoitettu lähinnä lapsille. Rantaan oli lyhyt matka sekä myöskin ruokapaikkoihin. Ruokapaikkoja tosin aika niukasti. Eurot ei käy ja pankissa ainoastaan rahanvaihto.”

”A very clean apartment, very comfortable for one or two people. Kitchen is very basic, and there are 2 supermarkets nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is very clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable, linen charged regularly. Apparently a 2star property but definitely a great choice for your stay on Curaçao ”

”Hotelli oli yleisesti ottaen hyvä. Miinusta tuli siitä, että öisin hotellin alueella oli todella äänekästä lintujen laulua. Häiritsi hieman yöunta. Hotellin ravintola oli yksi koko Curacaon parhaista joissa kävimme. Henkilökunta mukavaa ja avuliasta.”

”Classical ground and building architectures.... beautiful wooden furniture......marble statues on the premises...and the e=signal (RF) scatter is zero, nothing from TV, paintings, electrical outlets, mirrors etc. as is self evident in some other hotels...locally and in the USA. ”

”A nice boutique hotel. The bed was very comfortable. There was a nice dip pool and a private beach. Decided not to enter the water because of the high waves. The proximity to restaurants and shops was great. Julia, Juniska and Kimmie were very helpful prior to my stay and throughout my stay. I will definitely stay there again in the near future. Thank you for all☺️”

There was a great Chinese food restaurant, literally next-door. The weight was longer than I had hoped, but after the food came, it made sense And it was great food. ”

Lovely stay in Kontiki

"We had a really pleasant one week stay at Kontiki! The room was clean, air-con was good and the place was absolutely beautiful! 2 minutes walk to the beach and breakfast was perfect, and the pool downstairs was nice. I suggest bringing ear plugs because birds at night are noisy and the soundproofing not good so you'd hear everything next door. There was a bit funky smell in the bathroom probably because wood floors and moisture are not a good combination. Overall this was LOVELY."
