”This is a lovely hotel in a great location. My room was gorgeous and had the best nights sleep I’ve had in years, as the room is sound proofed. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
Just a few things to be aware of. This hotel is quite expensive to book, and it’s a little cheeky they charge an Additional cost for parking, £25 for the night. It does not have aircon so is quite warm. The food and drink are overpriced. (Recommend going elsewhere) However, it is a lovely hotel and you can’t...
”Beautiful location, views are stunning on the outside terrace, rooms are lovely whilst small has all you need although would suggest a mirror on the dressing table. Breakfast was lovely, drinks very reasonably priced with a good selection and lovely welcoming staff. ”

”The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere.
The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets.
