”not a comfortable environment at all, cabin was full of bugs and cob webs everywhere, have to pay for guest’s to come visit. They say speed limit 5 mph but they zoom around on go carts going past cars, then tell the cars to slow down, because you’re not white!!!!!!! Most horrible experience ever!!! Then got police called on us as well!!!!! ”

”This was the perfect place for 2 couples. We each had our own space and bathroom with a common area. The place itself was superclean and enjoyable. Great lake views! The owners are very thoughtful of their guests. The only suggestion we all agreed on was the need for comfortable furniture on the deck and a little debugging/decob webbing outside. Other than that this would make this 5 stars all the way around.”

”The place was nicely remolded and looked like the photos. However, there was a terrible bug problem. You could not open the doors once it got dark out because hundreds of bugs would get in!! The counter tops would be filled with dead bugs the next morning. We would have to clean and vacuum a bunch of times. They seem to be trying to fix it by putting bug lights in the house. However, the location of one was on the kitchen counter, so it would end covered in bugs. The location was great and the...

”The perfect weekend get away. The home is beautiful, cozy and clean. The host was super thoughtful and left personal touches related to our stay during the 2024 exlipse, including glases to watch the eclipse with. We spent our weekend hanging out on the dock fishing, watching the array of ducks, herons and swans swim in the inlet and enjoying a lakeside fire in the evening. The neighbors were incredibly friendly as well. Also a big perk, the home is centrally located to numerous great beaches...

”We loved everything about this charming home. The view was amazing, the home was immaculate and beautifully appointed and the location, surrounded by nature was tranquil and a great place to walk. The kitchen had everything you need and all kitchen items and appliances were is “like new” condition. The beds were comfortable. Sandy was a gracious host and was available when we had a question. Could not make a higher recommendation!”

”The cottage was very clean upon arrival and you can tell they are meticulous with their maintenance of the property. Beds were all comfortable and bathroom was well stocked with towels & tp. Kitchen was also well stocked with anything and everything you’d need to cook a meal. Kayla was very responsive to any questions we had and reached out prior to check in and at check out as well. ”Camp Shah was a fantastic getaway for our extended family. We had such a great time swimming, kayaking, sitting around the fire and playing cards on the screen porch. The only suggestions I have is that the 100lb weight limit on the bunk beds should definitely be listed, and also possibly an upgrade to the refrigerator. Other than that, the property was wonderful and the owners were super responsive, friendly and helpful. I'd rent it again.”

The only thing that could have been a little bit better was communication from the owner about check-in. We didn't get check-in instructions until late the night before we were travelling, but it all worked out. Great time had by all in our group!”

”Our family enjoyed our stay on Port Bay! Very well stocked and clean cottage with everything you could need for your stay. Awesome fishing off of the nice, long dock. Life jackets were even provided for use of pedal boat, kayak and canoe. We even did some swimming! Great view of Port Bay and friendly neighbors.”
